MFG Atlas is a professional community. Keep it technical, useful and respectful. By participating you agree to these rules.

1. Be specific and technical

When asking for help, include machine type, tonnage, material, hydraulic fluid, pressures, error codes, photos or drawings where relevant. Good questions get fast answers.

2. Safety first

High-pressure hydraulics and hot molding equipment can injure or kill. Never advise bypassing safety interlocks, relief valves or guarding. Safety-critical advice must reflect applicable standards (ISO 4413, ISO 20430, EU Machinery Directive, OSHA and equivalents).

3. No spam, no covert advertising

Do not post unsolicited promotions, affiliate links or fake questions promoting your product. Suppliers may share expertise and link to resources when directly relevant, and may list their company in the directory — the forum itself is not an ad space.

4. English language

Posts should be in English so knowledge stays accessible to everyone. Machine-translated posts are welcome if understandable.

5. Respect IP and confidentiality

Do not share confidential drawings, customer data or proprietary files. Cite sources when quoting standards or articles.

6. Be respectful

Criticize ideas, not people. No harassment, discrimination or politics.

7. Moderation

Moderators may edit, move or remove content that breaks these rules, and may ban repeat offenders. Decisions can be appealed via the contact page.
